For 15,000 Bulgarian Lev (about £6,500 or €7,700) you can buy this 15-year-old multi-purpose property on the edge of the town of Svilengrad. The border with Greece is 2 km (just over a mile) away and the border with Turkey ('Kapitan Andrevo') only 9 km (just over 5 miles).

It's a modern single-storey property, which until recently functioned as a café/bar. It would need a new licence if it were to be run as a bar, but the previous owner was the Mayor of Svilengrad and would be a great help. He could also ensure advertising for the business.

It is also ideal for conversion into a dwelling (for which planning permission is not required). This would be suitable for people who travel and need a place to store any kind of vehicle (motorhome, caravan, car, motorbike, bicycles etc). Location

The property is in an up-and-coming area of the prosperous town of Svilengrad near the Greek and Turkish borders. There is a doctor's surgery next door and a school across the road. The English-speaking doctor is related to the previous owners of the bar and the family is willing to keep an eye on the place when no-one is there.
