Cycling the Rivers of Germany 2012: Here we put in one place accounts of the 15 cycle rides we made along some of the great rivers of Germany: the Rhine, Mosel, Ahr, Neckar and Danube. Most are half-day rides of up to 50 km (30 miles), but there is a 2-day ride on the Mosel (123 km, 77 miles) and 3-day ride on the Danube (215 km, 134 miles). |

What was New in 2011? Eco Camping Batak is new. Located at 1090 m (3,600 ft) in the Rhodopi mountains, on the edge of Lake Batak, it is a great addition to Bulgaria's still small list of really good campsites. English is well spoken by owner/manager Hristo Simeonov and a wide range of outdoor activities are on hand.
