A Real Find, near the Greek border on the through routes to and from Turkey 

In a country with an almost complete absence of campgrounds suitable for motorhomes, here is one that is very suitable! Not only that, it is English-run and it's on the E80, east of Plovdiv, on the route down from Bucharest to the Greek and Turkish borders.

Suddenly, Bulgaria feels much more accessible!

Matt writes: "Thank you for your support, it would be great if you could recommend us on your site. We are, as a rule, open all year round. I live in an apartment on site and we are willing to take in guests whenever. We are just finishing an apartment that will be for rental purposes, as of the summer next year, on the same site. If you are ever in our neck of the woods, please come and stay to see the facilities for yourself. It is a lovely part of Bulgaria, lots to see and loads of countryside to enjoy. We are about 20 km from the Greek border and you could be in Istanbul in about 4-5 hours (customs permitting!)

My parents have travelled to and from Bulgaria-UK on many occasions now. I have just completed my second trip, so we have a wealth of information on where to stay and handy information for travellers.

Even backpackers can get to us easily, as my friends have found. We have good bus routes to and from the major cities in Bulgaria & Turkey and a rail route that runs Istanbul-Sofia and stops in Biser, near to the site.
