The Camping and Caravanning Club offers nearly 100 UK Club Sites, over 1,200 smaller member-only sites, ferry bookings, local groups, monthly magazine, insurance, RAC breakdown, loans, weather forecasts, outdoor wear, accessories, equipment and a credit card.

Over 500 campsites in Scotland are fully described in Andy Thomson's multi-lingual non-commercial site and you can add your own recommendations and reviews.

The Cyclists' Touring Club is the UK's largest; its website contains much technical and touring information, some of it for members only (but you can join through the site).
